We enjoyed the 4th of July yesterday along the west bank of the Cedar River. We joined thousands of others downtown, enjoying the beautiful summer evening and a spectacular fireworks display. You can click on the picture above to see a slideshow of the evening.
Downtown is definitely the place to be on July 4. It's as if the entire community decides to celebrate together. The experience that we collectively share gives us a sense of connectedness and community.
