Starting Point

The new Starting Point class met this morning for this first time. We had an awesome group with 24 new people in attendance. The goal of Starting Point is to help people take the "next step" in their relationship with Christ and to connect with our New Covenant family. It will be fun to see how people from this group become involved and connected.

Welcome Lunch

We had another great Welcome Lunch yesterday with over 120 people in attendance! Wow, the attendance even exceeded the 110 people that we were planning for. A special "thank you" to Ken and the rest of our Kitchen Team! You can click on the picture above to see a slideshow of the lunch.

I'm looking forward to Starting Point next week. My number one priority this week is to finish up the materials we will be using. I'm expecting great things.

Friends Class

The Friends Class concluded today. We had a great group of people and had alot of fun! You can click on the picture above to see a slideshow of the class. Several people were absent this week so I was unable to get their pictures taken.

I always enjoy watching where people get involved after the Friends Class. Welcome these new folks to our church family and spend time getting to know them. You will be blessed! And join me in helping to create space for one more person!

It's always fun to get to know those who are new to our church. It's exciting to see how God is at work in the lives of people. And it is rewarding to watch how those from the Friends Class become part of our church family.

This was a very special Friends Class. You know that God is at work when you reach the end of the six weeks and you don't want the class to end. It never ceases to amaze me how you can grow to get to know and care for people in such a short time!

New Covenant is a family of growing disciples. God's hand is on our church in a special way. It's a joy to be involved in what He is doing. We are a family that is committed to making space for one more person. Help me welcome these new friends to our family!

We had a great Friends Class yesterday with over 25 people attending either the morning or evening session. What a great group of people!

This week we looked at what it means to be a wholehearted worshipper. We talked about worship style and our philosophy that utilizes a blended approach. I love the diversity, variety and creativity of our times of worship. Every week is different and you never know what to expect! That's the way worship should be - fresh, new, and heartfelt.
